Police are looking into an assault which took place at the BP in Three Parks on Wednesday afternoon.Police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault in broad daylight at a busy local service station this week.
They are asking the public for any information they may have about the incident, which took place at approximately 1.35pm on Wednesday (February 18).
“The incident happened on the forecourt of the BP Service Station, Sir Tim Wallace Drive.” Wānaka Police area response manager Graeme Hamblett said.
Police have not released further details about what occurred, or the number or ages of those involved.
They are now urging anyone who may have been nearby at the time, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
“If you witnessed this incident or have any information which may assist the investigation, please contact Police on 105 quoting file reference number 260220/6973,” Graeme said.
