Two Pairs of Tickets for Either Performance of Ængles

Two Pairs of Tickets for Either Performance of Ængles

Folk music is a celebration of culture, people, place, and the shared stories that unite us. It’s only fitting then that in a region that’s become a melting pot of cultures and experiences, folk music will be at the fore when the At the World’s Edge Festival returns to Queenstown, Wānaka and Central Otago this October.

Over the course of a fortnight, Aotearoa’s finest chamber musicians will perform a dynamic, energetic and varied programme of chamber music pieces with international artists, including Julian Bliss from the UK, one of the world's finest clarinettists, US violinist Alexi Kenney, and Hungarian pianist Daniel Lebhardt. The performances include compositions by this year’s Composer in Residence, Eve Castro-Robinson, whose new work for clarinet and string trio, Earth’s Eye, will receive its world premiere in Wānaka when it is performed at The Rippon Hall.

We have two pairs of tickets to giveaway for either performance of Ængles at The Rippon Hall on Saturday 12th October.

Value $140 each,

Competition closes at midnight Sunday 29 September, 2024.

Winner will be notified Monday 30 September, 2024.

Renowned architect, Fred van Brandenburg, will be speaking in between the performances about the strong links between music and his work.
