A bargain just got a little bit closer as The Warehouse and Noel Leeming officially opened their doors in Wānaka on Thursday (October 12). 

The two stores cover more than 5100sqm at Three Parks and offer a wide range of products and everyday essentials that Kiwis know and love. 

At The Warehouse, customers can shop clothing, homewares, books and toys for the whole family, gardening must-haves from the garden centre, and the full Warehouse Stationery offering, including personalisation and Print and Copy services. The new store also opens in time to welcome new summer ranges featuring outdoor furniture sets, water sports, BBQ must-haves, and everything you need to get ready for Christmas.

The Warehouse’s full pantry and grocery range will also be on offer, including milk, eggs, bread, breakfast cereals, canned goods and more, as well as groceries from its own Market Kitchen brand.

At Noel Leeming, customers can shop the broad range of tech, whiteware and appliances as well as visit the built-in cooking centre and services hub. Noel Leeming’s dedicated tech solutions team will also be on hand to help customers set up their tech before leaving the store or can also support customers in their homes with in-home consultations and installations.

Customers are also invited to make use of the stores’ sustainability solutions by recycling soft plastics and ink and toner cartridges at The Warehouse or dropping off e-waste and mobile phones at Noel Leeming. 

To celebrate the occasion, the first 300 customers in-store received goody bags and cupcakes – 200 at The Warehouse and 100 at Noel Leeming – and opening deals will be on offer all weekend.

The Warehouse will also be supporting local community groups all opening weekend. Join in to support Wānaka’s Toy Library, Riding for the Disabled, Scouts and Parents and Friends of Mount Aspiring College who’ll be hosting sausage sizzles outside the store. The Warehouse will match all funds raised.
