Tiger King



A wild documentary series following the largest big cat collectors within the United States. This Netflix original follows a gay, gunslinging, presidential candidate accurately named Joe Exotic as he attempts to run an exotic animal zoo in the outskirts of Oaklahoma. However, the zoo is the least of his worries as animal rights activist and Joe’s number one rival, Carol Baskin, spend millions trying to shut him down on animal abuse accusations. The series leaves little to the imagination with a surprise hidden in every episode that will keep you captivated and ready to binge all isolation long. 


Dont F**k With Cats



A 3 part documentary series that describes the 2 years leading to the horrific murder commited by Luca Magnotta. An unwatchable online video brought together keyboard warriors and animal lovers from around the world to track and find justice. Their target, Luca, had other plans with detailed and meticulous acts that cause havoc within the online community. Will the police listen and take action or will it be too late? This series will hook you to the point of no return and shock you the entire way through. Binge level 10/10 


Black Mirror



This is a Wanaka App favourite. Black Mirror is one of the best watches on Netflix. A British based series that creates semi realistic portrayals of what the world may look like in the near future. This speculative fiction shows the possible effects on modern society of the unanticipated consequences of technological advancements. Every episode brings something different that will entice you and force you to binge. Netflix hosts all 5 seasons of Black Mirror giving you plenty of entertainment throughout this lockdown period.
