The Wanaka App has recorded readership of 108,181 people over the past twelve months (Aug 22, 2020 - Aug 21, 2021) according to Google Analytics. It is the first time readership has surpassed 100,000 over a twelve month period.
The surge in readership is a 233% increase on the previous twelve month period when 32,425 unique readers were recorded.
The readership resulted in 946,235 reader sessions being an average of 2,592 reader sessions per day.
Page views for the twelve months were 4,640,031, an average of 12,712 per day.
Readership over the past 30 days is 22,754 and for the past 7 days 10,644.
The adult population in the Upper Clutha is estimated at 10,500.
The Wanaka App launched in March 2016 providing daily news and information to the Upper Clutha community.
