We’re asking readers like you to make a contribution in support of the work we do informing our community. Every contribution, however big or small, is valuable in helping us tell your story.
In these uncertain times reporting of local news and providing local information has never been so vital. When the December floods occurred we increased our reporting and we’re now doing the same thing. We know how important it is for our community to have up-to-date and timely stories, especially in times like this. We accept this responsibility and would like you to help us.
If you like what we do then we’re asking you to make a contribution to help us fund the work of our editorial team. We are just like you, we live here and love our community, we want to see it thrive and we believe that it thrives when it is informed, when it is engaged, and when it has a reliable source of information. A source which delivers stories clearly and calmly, and a source that you can rely on.

Your contribution will help us extend our reporting, explore more stories, and explore stories more deeply. We’re keeping you up to date on the pandemic (as we did with the floods), but the ability to tell community stories is the essence of what we do: To highlight the achievements of our youth, to provide inspiration through our people profiles, and to reflect our culture, our pristine natural environment, our penchant for adventure, and our collective desire to protect, sustain, and prosper.
If you love a good local story then become a supporter today.
Thank you
