The Wanaka App has expanded its publishing business with the launch of the Wanaka App online this week. The new online site makes the Wanaka App accessible via a web browser on desktop, laptop, ipad/tablet and mobile phone.
At this time when we are experiencing extremely high volumes of readers the new web based site will make it easier for everyone to keep up to date with local news and information.
The new website is https://www.wanakaapp.nz/.
The Wanaka App is read by over 9,000 people each month and the new publishing site is expected to grow that number over time as content becomes more discoverable via online search.
Content on the new website will be the same as that published in the mobile app. The purpose is to make it easier and more convenient for users to get the content they want when they want it.
User feedback played a big part in the development of the website with regular requests for more flexibility in accessing news and local information.
We hope you like this new development.
