A new podcast has been launched today (February 17) by the Wānaka App.

The podcast is called 'The Outlet - the talk of Wānaka'.

Hosted by broadcasting veteran Brent Harbour, The Outlet will focus on local information and interviews in a 20-30 minute weekly programme.

The podcast has a radio style to it and will feature 2-3 interviews per episode on topics of interest to the Upper Clutha, as well as featuring local news, events, and jobs.

The Outlet provides another channel for local news and information to flourish, complementing the Wānaka App, the Wānaka App online and the Wānaka Newsletter, all owned and published by the Wānaka App.

Coverage of local news and events is critical for the health of our community and The Outlet provides an opportunity for us to provide new content utilising the audio format.
