Four local food producers have been recognised at the Outstanding Food Producer Awards 2025.

Commenting on PURE New Zealand’s Tiramisu Ice Cream the judges said 'perfect balance, great coffee flavour. Good layering’.

“We’ve worked hard to perfect what we feel is a fun yet sophisticated addition to our Range - and of course, it’s ridiculously delicious,” PURE New Zealand’s director and head of production Anna Howard said.

“We’re delighted with the uptake of the new flavour and we’re churning flat out to produce stock for stores across both Islands.”

Silver medals were awarded to Sidekick Soda for its Sidekick Cherry and to the Kitchen Window for its Pear & Fig Chutney.

The Outstanding Food Producer Awards celebrate the best of New Zealand's food and drink producers and this year attracted a record 405 entries.
