Police have confirmed that one person was located deceased following what is believed to be a three-vehicle crash involving two trucks and a car on Cromwell-Clyde Highway this morning.

One of the truck drivers sustained a minor injury and was assessed at the scene.

Police responded around 6.35am this morning (March 27) and the road was closed for much of the day. The road is now open.

The Serious Crash Unit and Commercial Vehicle Safety Team (CVST) are investigating to determine what occurred.
