Maintenance work is underway on two popular public tracks in Wānaka.
Crews are working to repair the Waterfall Creek Track alongside Lake Wānaka, which was washed out late last year.
Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) said the widening and reinstatement of sections near Edgewater Resort should be completed by the end of this week.
The work involves large stones being manoeuvered into place on the township side of the bridge before Edgewater.
The track remains open but short detours may be required.
Meanwhile, a section of the pathway alongside the Wānaka golf course is being upgraded. A 140m length of existing path is being widened and sealed to improve the connection between the Golf Course Road path and McDougall Street.
The work is being funded by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), through its Transport Choices programme.
