Tiger Moth flips at Cromwell AerodromeNo one was harmed when the Tiger Moth flipped while taxiing at Cromwell today.

A de Havilland Tiger Moth flown at Warbirds Over Wānaka on the weekend has flipped at Cromwell today (April 1).

The bi-plane flipped while taxiing at Cromwell Aerodrome, near the Cromwell Racecourse about noon. It came to rest upside down.

Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) crews were called to the scene, just off State Highway 6, including two appliances from Cromwell and one from Clyde.

A FENZ spokesperson said no one was injured or trapped "so we just assisted, putting it right again".
