Plunket is providing fun and support for families at this year’s Wānaka A&P Show, which takes place next weekend (March 7-8).

The Plunket Playground on Pembroke Park is a dedicated free space for children under five to play, explore, and enjoy their time at the Wānaka A&P Show.

The area - designed with families in mind - will offer age-appropriate activities, toys, and plenty of room to roam.

Plunket manager Bryony Illsley told the Wānaka App the area is also a “safe space” for families to come and feed their babies, change nappies and play.

“This year we have a sand pit courtesy of the community workshop and sand supplied from Upper Clutha Transport, with toys provided from the Community Toy Library,” she said.

“We have suncream, nappies, sanitary items and we will have a competition to give away a car seat courtesy from Queenstown Lakes District Council.”

The Plunket Playground will be open on both Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
