Iggy Pop, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Hoodoo Gurus, and Zed will headline next year’s Wānaka Summer Concert at the Three Parks Arena on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Concert promoter Greenstone Entertainment announced the lineup today (October 16), describing it as a powerhouse mix of international and New Zealand rock acts spanning generations.
The lineup features punk icon Iggy Pop, known as the “Godfather of Punk”; Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett and the Blackhearts; Australian legends Hoodoo Gurus; and New Zealand favourites Zed, who rose to fame in the early 2000s.
The 2026 show marks the first time the event is to be held at the new Three Parks Arena after 15 years in the Gibbston Valley. Resource consent for the new venue remains a work in progress with the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC).
Tickets for the 2026 concert go on sale at 9am on Thursday, October 23, starting from $159. Pre-sale access will be available for Greenstone Club members from October 21.
The event will form part of the wider Summer Concert Tour, with companion shows in Taupō and Whitianga.
