UK chart-toppers Rudimental, genre-blending artist Santigold and grime pioneer Dizzie Rascal will perform at this year’s Rhythm & Alps (R&A) festival in the Cardrona Valley.

The three-day event, from December 29-31, will mark the festival’s 15th anniversary, and more than 10,000 festivalgoers are expected.

A “very special” headline act is still to be announced, organisers said.

The initial lineup also features Chaos In The CBD, The Black Seeds, Kurupt FM, Corrella, and Badger.

There’s also Catching Cairo, Dombresky (Disco Dom), Fish56Octagon, Gentlemens Club, KANINE and Swimming Paul.

Local and emerging acts are also on the bill, including Beccie B, Dick Johnson, Fiona & The Glow, Halfqueen, Lady Shaka, Natty Lou, Nice Girl, Pages Layn, SUUNE and Th’ Goodside.

Campers’ Night will return on December 29 with a new format, including an upgraded premium camping zone and exclusive performances, organisers said. 

Only 1,000 tickets are available for the first night.

First staged in 2011, R&A has become a mainstay of the summer music calendar.

It is held at Robrosa Station in the Cardrona Valley.
