Lake Wānaka Tourism (LWT) has launched a refreshed version of the popular Wānaka Tracks App for the summer season.

The app, designed specifically for the wider Wānaka region, helps visitors decide which track is best for them. 

Users - whether walking or cycling - can search for a track that is most suitable for their level of experience and fitness, the time required, accessibility, as well as providing safety information and information about nearby businesses.

Lake Wānaka Tourism said since the app first launched it has helped visitors get answers to what is one of the most frequently asked questions at the iSite – ‘what and where is the best track for me?’

The app is available for download from the App store.
