PULSE - combining fitness and fun!  (Youth blog)

Youth get ready for an exciting adventure with PULSE, a dynamic fitness programme delivered by Kāhu Youth.


When: Starting Wednesday 25t February and finishing Friday 27 March, 2 sessions per week, Wednesday 7:00am - 8:30am and Friday 7:00am - 9.00am

Who: Year 9 & 10 students (Year 7, 8 and 11 by exception)

PULSE is a youth fitness programme designed to build resilience, strengths and foster positive relationships between youth and local community services. This programme is packed with fun fitness sessions led by community groups and partners, including the Wānaka Police, Wānaka Fire Brigade, Andrew King and many more! Each session will be a unique experience, with its own theme and focus. Each morning’s session will be followed by a nutritious breakfast before youth are dropped off at MAC to start the school day.

  • building of self-esteem and resilience by trying new things, overcoming challenges
