Wānaka’s new food delivery service is off to a strong start, the company says.
Delivereasy is a food ordering and delivery platform linking drivers, restaurants and customers in around 45 New Zealand locations.
Wānaka was added to its delivery locations at the end of September.
“We’ve been pleasantly surprised by customer engagement in the first few weeks,” Delivereasy brands and partnerships lead Jordi Boyd told the Wānaka App.
“People are loving the platform but more importantly for us, feedback on the service has also been really positive.”
A range of local eateries are available to order from via Delivereasy - including Now Bao, Stoked Sangucheria, Ceylon Curry Corner, The Catch, Ya Ma’s, and more.
A small handful of Wānaka restaurants already offer delivery, and the now defunct WanaFeed also provided delivery services in the past, but they have been mostly limited until now.
Jordi said Delivereasy “isn’t just a value add to people ordering”.
“....we’re also helping other Kiwi-owned businesses get their products in front of more people at more convenient times.”
Delivereasy is a NZ-owned company.
