The driver of a local truck received moderate injuries after the vehicle rolled on the Lake Hāwea-Albert Town Road yesterday morning (Tuesday February 9).

Police received a report of the truck having rolled just after 8.00am. 

St John was notified at 8.09am, and sent one ambulance. 

The crew assessed one person at the scene, taking the patient to the Wanaka Lakes Medical Centre with moderate injuries, a St John spokesperson said.

The road was clear by 8.45am.
