Focus Technology Group has been named Approved Partner of the Year at the Eaton Partner Awards, recognising the New Zealand IT service provider’s strong partnership with global power management company Eaton.

Focus Technology works with Eaton to help organisations protect critical systems, maintain business continuity and build resilient technology environments.

“This award recognises the work our team does every day to support our clients and build strong partnerships,” Focus Technology Group chief executive Brendon McDermott said.

“We’re grateful to Eaton for the collaboration and proud of what we’ve achieved together.”

The award was presented at a ceremony in Sydney last week and acknowledged the company’s performance over the past year, including 26 percent year-on-year growth and its work delivering power management and infrastructure solutions across New Zealand.

The company was recognised alongside other technology partners including Datacom, PBTech and Softsource VBridge.

Founded in Invercargill 32 years ago, Focus Technology Group now has seven branches and more than 80 staff across the South Island, including an office in Wānaka.
