Police are continuing to search for a 15-year-old boy this morning (Tuesday April 29) after being called out overnight.

Wānaka Police Senior Sergeant Fiona Roberts told the Wānaka App there is a heavy police presence in these areas and there will be helicopter searches.

“Anyone in the area of Hikuwai, Sticky Forest, and potentially Mt Iron should keep a look out for this young male,” she said.

He may be wearing a Swandri-type checked jacket (black and blue) and black pants, she said.
