The Upper Clutha experienced a power outage this morning from 8am to 8.40am.

A spokesperson at Aurora Energy was unable to say the cause of the fault when we asked.

The Aurora website, which publishes information on outages, was undergoing maintenance at the time of the outage and not available.

The website is expected to be online by 9am this morning (Monday January 8).
