Covid-19: 192 new casesThere are 192 new cases in Queenstown Lakes.

There are 192 new cases of Covid-19 in the Queenstown Lakes District, bringing the total number of active caes to 1,457.


The Southern District Health Board (SDHB) does not provide a breakdown of cases within the district so the Wānaka App cannot provide Wānaka case numbers.



Across Southern, there are 1,404 new cases and an active total of 8,585.


There are 95 new cases in Central Otago; 75 in Clutha; 348 in Dunedin; 60 in Gore; 390 in Invercargill; 154 in Southland; and 90 in Waitaki.

 

There are 23 people in hospital in the Southern District, 16 in Dunedin and seven in Southland.



None are in the ICU unit.
