Covid-19: 166 new casesThere are another 166 cases of Covid-19 in Queenstown Lakes.

There are 166 new cases of Covid-19 in Queenstown Lakes, bringing the active total to 783.


The Southern District Health Board (SDHB) does not provide a breakdown of cases within Queenstown Lakes so the Wānaka App cannot provide Wānaka specific case numbers.



Across the region there are 1,410 new cases and an active total of 66,99 cases.


There are 123 new cases in Central Otago; 96 in Clutha; 548 in Dunedin; 42 in Gore; 251 in Invercargill; 108 in Southland; and 75 in Waitaki.



There are 40 people hospitalised with Covid-19 in the region: 27 in Dunedin; eight in Southland; three in Dunstan; and two in Waitaki. None are in ICU.
