Photos have been published by Police and witnesses or anyone with information are urged to come forward in relation to a duck hunting incident near the Clutha River on May 1 where two walkers were wounded. 


The incident involved two women being wounded by shotgun pellets while walking on a trail alongside the Clutha River. 



Southern District Police shared a photo of the pair wanted for questioning on their Facebook page. 


Police shared photos of the men (pictured) wanted for questioning over a duck shooting incident in which two women were wounded last weeked. 


“Can you help us?” the post states. 


“Police are seeking information regarding the two people pictured, following an incident near the Clutha River in Alexandra on 1st May.


“If you have any information which could help, please contact Police on 105 quoting file number 210502/0987.


“Alternatively, you can also provide us with anonymous information via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”


Police are still making inquiries and no arrests have been made yet.
