Changes to visiting rules at Dunstan HospitalDunstan Hospital

Dunstan Hospital has made changes to its visitation policy in light of the spread of Omicron in the community.

Visitors to Vincent Ward are limited to one person at any time unless by prior arrangement and visitation hours have been restricted to 11am-6pm daily.

Only one person is able to accompany another person to attend an outpatient or x-ray appointment.

Central Otago Health Services says these arrangements will continue until further notice.

“When visiting Dunstan Hospital please make sure you scan or sign in,” Central Otago Health Services chief executive Kathryn de Luc said.

“Practice social distancing, good hand hygiene and wear a medical grade face mask. If you do not have a medical grade face mask to use when you come in we can provide one on entry.”

Kathryn thanked the public for their support in challenging times.
