Police were notified of a vehicle collision involving a vehicle and tree on Ardmore Street at 4:36pm this afternoon (Wednesday September 16).

St John sent an ambulance to the scene, and the crew took one patient with moderate injuries to the Wanaka Lakes Health Centre.

A police spokesperson told the Wanaka App it was too early to say what had caused the crash.

“Enquiries will be made to determine the circumstances of the crash,” they said.
