A motor vehicle crashed into a bank in the Cardrona Valley this afternoon (Monday August 31).
The vehicle left the road and hit a bank on the corner of Cardrona Valley Road and James Road around 3.30pm.
Two fire crews from Wanaka responded, as did the police.
The two occupants of the car were out of the car when the fire service arrived. Emergency services secured the vehicle.
A police spokesperson said the two people were reported to be ‘status three’ (moderate).
There was no information on the cause of the accident.
