The annual Rotary Club of Wanaka Book Sale is fast approaching and the Rotary Club is seeking books.
This year the book sale will take place over three days commencing Friday 2 October and ending on Sunday 4 October. The Rotary Club of Wanaka is actively preparing for the sale which involves cataloguing and pricing books. While the Club has a large store of books from previous sales they are always looking for new ones.
“It’s an opportunity for people to have a bit of a spring clean by giving books they don’t need anymore, knowing they are going to a worthwhile cause,” said Rotary Club of Wanaka President Mike Elliot. “Proceeds from the sale go back into the community.”
The book sale is an annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Wanaka, raising over $10,000 for charity and worthwhile causes. It will be held at the Lake Wanaka Centre.
Books can be dropped off at Wanaka Mitre 10 during their opening hours.
