Wānaka para alpine ski racer Adam Hall finished in third place at the FIS Para Alpine Slalom World Cup held in Tignes, France, overnight (Monday December 16).
This result marks the 30th World Cup podium of Adam’s career and his hundredth World Cup start.
“I had a really good day, I am really happy, met some big milestones today and it is a great way to start my season,” Adam said.
“I have had an incredible lead up into these races with amazing training and it’s so rewarding to see weeks and months of training come through into my competitions.”

Adam said the result is his best start to a season and a successful way to begin preparing for his sixth Paralympics in Milano Cortina in 2026.
Slalom rankings are determined by the first and second run times of each athlete combined. Adam was sitting in fourth position after the first run and found more speed in his second run to secure a podium finish.
Adam finished in bronze medal position, 2.87 seconds behind the winner Arthur Bauchet of France. Aaron Lindstroem of Sweden finished second.
Adam will be back on snow tonight (December 17) for another World Cup race.
