We are on the lookout for the best Travel Consultant to join our team at the official Wānaka isite Visitor Bookings and Information Centre ready for a busy summer ahead.

You will be helping visitors plan their dream adventures around Wanaka and NZ, from booking activities and accomodation to sharing your local knowledge and making every trip unforgettable.

If you are an absolute natural with sales and customer service, have a fabulous positive energy, great with computers and onto it with details, we would love to hear from you! 

Responsibilities include:

• Booking travel, accommodations, and activities for both locals and visitors, working closely with tourism operators.
• Crafting personalised itineraries and travel documents for individual travelers and groups.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and product knowledge through regular training.
• Love a challenge to meet team sales targets while enjoying incentives for your hard work.

 What We're Looking For:

• Proven sales experience and a knack for thriving in a busy environment.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• The ability to multitask, handle pressure, and stay self-motivated.
• In-depth knowledge of Wanaka and its surrounding regions.
• Proficiency in computer systems, with a quick learning curve for new tools.
• A strong desire for continuous learning and staying updated on product changes.
• The legal right to work and live in New Zealand.
• Availability to work on weekends, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service around the clock.
• Multilingual capability is a bonus.
