Are you passionate about customer service and want to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Southern Lakes ITM, the leading supplier or building materials in Central Otago, is looking for a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our busy team in Wānaka.
Your main focus will be to assist with the day-to-day operations in the shop while providing excellent service to both call in and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing advice and guidance
- Process sales transactions
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy shop floor
- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Support inventory management and stock-taking activities
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Computer skills
- Previous experience in customer service is preferable, but not essential
- Flexibility to work Saturday roster as required
