Headwaters Plumbing is a respected, locally owned plumbing business based in Wanaka. Over the past 6 years, we’ve built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism, and reliability, specialising in new builds, renovations, high-end residential projects, as well as water filtration and septic systems.

We’re growing steadily and intentionally — and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us.

The Opportunity

This is a senior on-the-tools role with a clear pathway into future leadership.

You’ll be trusted to:

• Run your own jobs and manage multiple sites
• Be a key point of contact for clients and builders
• Help set the standard for quality, professionalism, and culture
• Support and mentor apprentices and junior staff as the team grows

As the business continues to expand, there is genuine scope to move into a lead plumber / supervisory position for the right person.

About You

You’re someone who:

• Is a registered or certified plumber with at least 4 years’ experience
• Can confidently run jobs independently and manage timelines and quality
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship
• Communicates professionally with clients, builders, and team members
• Enjoys helping others improve and leading by example
• Has high personal standards and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
• Is honest, reliable, and well-presented
• Understands and follows health and safety best practice
• Is drug and alcohol free
• Holds a full, clean NZ driver’s licence
