Exciting Opportunity Available for a Full Time Drapery Consultant to join our GB Wanaka Family.

Here at Guthrie Bowron Wanaka, We are - Your Trusted Decorating Specialists. Selling Paint, Wallpaper, Curtains, Blinds, Carpet and Hard flooring including Tiles. We have a wonderful showroom with fantastic sampling for our customers to view and loan, along side our amazing team who have lots of energy and vision, to help our clients create their dream homes.

Previous Experience in an Interior Design or Drapery Industry is preferable, but not essential, as our first focus is for motivated team players who can provide exceptional honest service and drive sales over the line.

• Have a passion about what you do, take pride in your work, and care for your workmates and clients.
• Have a flair for design.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have technical aptitude as you will be out consulting, measuring and quoting.
• Have a high attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Are well organised, have good time management, can work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
• Are a practical person who can use their initiative, with lateral thinking abilities for problem solving.
• Are familiar with computers and enjoy using systems and have a good ability to adapt to new ideas and concepts as they are presented.
• Open to learning aspects of the other departments in the store, helping and working together as a team.
• Have experience in sales.
• Have previous experience is Soft furnishings or design, which would be a bonus.
• Have a valid full NZ drivers licence.
