We currently have the following part time positions available within the Allied Health Team and the Child Development Service: 


Permanent up to 0.6 FTE - Hospital and Community based:


We are seeking an experienced Health Social Worker who will be an integral member of our Allied Health Team, working together with whanau, caregivers, and community networks to support the health journey of people in our care. The role comprises of in-patient and community work for people of all ages, in a continually expanding population with wide ranging health and social needs. 


Ideally you will have experience working in a hospital, community, or care environment. The ability to be flexible and adapt, with strong communication skills is essential, to provide a seamless system of care from hospital to community. 


Permanent 0.2 FTE - Child Development Service:


We are seeking a dynamic Social Worker with preferable experience in child health services to provide support to children and their whanau who have complex health and social needs. The role is community based and will work closely with the other members of CDS Allied Health Team. 


The above positions require high standards of professional practice and the ability to work in a rural interdisciplinary setting.


Applicants for these positions must be registered with Social Work Registration Board and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
