Based in Arrowtown and reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide empowering and resident centric leadership to a well-established team.
Your natural ability to lead and be inclusive will see you foster a village environment that supports a retirement lifestyle for residents that is respectful, exceptional in service, community focussed, safe, and full of enjoyment.
In this role you will be responsible for the effective planning, management, and ongoing delivery of services and events to residents in a timely and safe manner. You will support the team with showing prospective buyers around the village, you will oversee the operational management and maintenance of the village, the health and safety of the team and residents, and ensure the Village maintains its status as a member of the Retirement Villages Association of New Zealand through compliance, successful RVA audits and maintaining best practice.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be an exceptional relationship builder with an ability to build rapport quickly. You will hold a strategic and operational mindset and foster a resident centric culture within your team.
You will also be empathetic by nature while still being able to set community standards for the wider resident community.
You are someone who enjoys socialising with a wide range of individuals and takes pride in nurturing a community that is passionate about living life in a beautiful rural setting.
Experience within the customer service environment is beneficial but not essential.
