Starting on Monday 17 February, crews from Veolia will start work to repair and upgrade a damaged wastewater pipe under a section of Plantation Road in Wānaka.

To complete this work safely and efficiently, Plantation Road will be closed to through traffic between Anderson Road and Reece Crescent for approximately three weeks. Resident access and detours will use Reece Crescent during this time.

A second phase of works will follow where the westbound lane can be opened to traffic while the eastbound lane remains closed for approximately two more weeks. We’ll share more details on this closer to the time.
