September 3: The Outlet Track has been reopened after repairs to an area affected by a slip.

A very popular track for both walking and biking. The track starts at the head of the Cultha River and follows it beginning to end, finishing at the Hikuwai Reserve in Albert Town. This stretch of river is very popular for trout fishing. Bikers must ride with care and give way to walkers.

Easy track, stroller and family friendly.

Start:

• Northern End - Outlet Motor Camp (see map below).
• Southern End - Albert Town

Distance: 3km

Time: 1hr one way at walking pace.
