Elections will be held, and all Executive Officer Positions will be up for renewal. Many of the current Exec Committee members are long-serving and have muttered about retiring, and we have yet to replace a few of our previous incumbents.

The HCA is committed to representing the Hawea Community to ensure that Hawea remains a beautiful place to live and that we all continue to have a voice in the long-term planning for the township, Domain, and Hawea Flat.

If you can spare a few hours a month on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month to attend a meeting for two hours and one-two additional hours to enable the HCA to continue to fairly represent our community, please put your name forward for the Executive Committee. We REALLY need you.

The HCA also provides funding to numerous community projects including the Lake Hawea Community Centre, The Hawea Flat School, The Hawea Fire Brigade, The Hawea Playgroup, Upper Clutha Tracks Trust, Hawea Bike Park, Local Playgrounds, and many more worthy causes. Please help us to continue to support our community.
