It's never not a good time to whip up a batch of yummy cheese scones and the gluten free cheese scones from Warbirds & Wheels Retro Diner are so popular they have to make a batch every day. Now you can too.
Warbirds and Wheels Gluten Free Scones
3 Cups GF flour
4 1/2 t baking powder
1 t salt
1/2 t white pepper
2 C grated cheddar cheese, plus 1 C extra
1 1/2 - 2 C milk
Preheat oven to 190C. Prepare a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl combine GF flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and cheese. Make a well in the centre and pour in milk. Mix lightly and quickly until just combined.
Drop 6 large spoonfuls onto prepared tray. Top with extra grated cheese.
Bake for 18-20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean and are nice and golden.
Enjoy warm with butter!
