We are the oldest specialised outdoor clothing company in New Zealand with a heritage dating back to the 1920’s in Dunedin and the legendary Fairydown brand. The Earth Sea Sky brand was launched in 1990.

From waterproof shells to base layer, every garment is built from the best performance fabrics available. This includes merino sourced from two Central Otago farms.

Our family owned and operated business is passionately, 100% NZ made. A family of mountaineers, we test and wear the garments we make.

A well as selling online, through retail shops, from our Christchurch base and at pop-ups, we supply branded garments to organisations. The highest profile of these is Antarctica NZ whose purpose designed wardrobe has been described as defining their organisation.
