The Mexican Community of Wānaka invites you and your whānau to celebrate the Day of the Dead at Paetara Aspiring Central (old Mitre 10 building) on November 2, 2024.

Hola, kia ora, hello,

This event is open to all ages, and it will be a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourselves in the cultural heritage that this important celebration means to Mexican people.

There will be different activities for all ages, especially kids; workshops and arts and crafts, music, a lot of fun and authentic Mexican food too!

So come join us, bring photos of your loved ones who have passed. We will share with you how we celebrate the lives of our friends and family who are no longer with us.

Let’s get together, and learn from one another.
