Statement

Thank you for backing me to become our district's newest champion at the last election.

I’ve worked hard to honour that privilege - by challenging assumptions, winning decisions, building trust and respect with staff, and growing into a courageous and well-spoken Councillor.

With some experience under my belt, I'm seeking re-election with a focus on culture. 

To be the 'Ted Lasso of Council' so ultimately, we’re collectively more effective. To rebuild trust, deliver good value for money and modernise core services. This is in part why I made videos, sharing the experience and better explaining changes in bylaws, to demonstrate how the process could be more intuitive.

Our district suffers in extremes which calls for creative solutions and long-term thinking. Systemic changes and a Regional Deal may be the platform to properly address it, and I want to help shape a future we can all look forward to, not resent.
