‘Struggling to navigate a cancer journey or support a loved one? The Cancer Society is local in your community and here to help.
Our mission is to reduce the impact and incidence of cancer.
Our Cancer Navigators work alongside you and your whanau to ensure you have the necessary supports in place throughout your cancer journey to reduce feelings of overwhelm and distress.
This may involve but is not limited to, one-to-one emotional support, coordination of other community services, advocacy, practical help in the way of volunteer drivers, accommodation, or meals.
Every experience of cancer is different and so is the support we provide, based on the needs of the individual and whanau at any stage of their journey.
Please don’t struggle alone- get in touch- any cancer/ any stage, we are here to help.
