This summer, we’re inviting everyone to enjoy the lakes responsibly. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, you can help protect these precious waterways. 

Keep an eye out over the summer months for the WAI team who will be at beaches and boat ramps. We will be sharing tips, hearing your stories, and inspiring action. 

You can find our stalls at the following locations: 

• Sunday 21st December @ Eely Point, 1pm – 5pm 
• Sunday 28th December @ Glendhu Bay Waterfront, 9am – 2pm 
• Saturday 3rd January @ the Outlet, 1pm – 5pm 
• Friday 9th January @ The Hawea Boat Ramp & Swimming Embayment, 12pm – 4pm 

If you aren’t able to make it down to chat with us, there are plenty of other ways to get involved. We have created some online resources with practical tips – from servicing your boat, checking for aquatic pests, leaving no trace, and letting you know about some local services.
