For the 2025 local body elections the Upper Clutha has a total of nine candidates standing for four positions on council and six standing for four positions on the community board.

We also have six candidates for mayor of the district.

Attendees will have approx three minutes to chat with the local candidates, the people who are standing for mayor, for council and community board.

Several Upper Clutha groups have collaborated on this; Stand Up Wānaka, all the residents & community associations (Albert Town, Hāwea, Luggate, Cardrona Valley, Mt Barker), Wānaka
