The classic often attracts hundreds of people for the community day out.

You don’t need a boat - around 30 per cent of people usually fish from Lake Hāwea’s shores.

You can download registration forms for Family or an Individual.

Before competition day: At the Lake Hāwea Community Centre between 5pm and 10pm on Friday February 7.

Entry forms available from the Lake Hāwea Community Centre.

On competition day: At the Lake Hāwea Community Centre between 7am and 9am.

Programme

Weigh-in between 2pm to 4:30pm on competition day – at the Lake Hāwea Community Centre.

Prize giving from 6:30pm at the Lake Hāwea Community Centre.

All net proceeds from this event are distributed back to local community groups
