Hi, some of you may know I'm a local author of children's fiction and owner of the Kiwi Kids' Bookstore, an online bookshop which features books by New Zealand authors for children and teens.

Last year, I participated in the Kiwi Christmas Books donation scheme for the first time, and with the help of lovely bookshop customers, authors and publishers, and my own donations, I was able to give Community Link Upper Clutha more than 70 brand-new books for them include in their Christmas hampers for local families.

Kiwi Christmas Books is a registered charity which gifts brand new books to families whose children would otherwise go without at Christmas time. We believe that good books help to build good people, so each year, we put thousands of quality Kiwi books into the hands of tamariki and rangatahi whose families can’t afford to buy their own, or who struggle to access quality literature in general.
